The sauna stove and the cauldron is heated with wood, electric lighting, cold water comes from the lake by electric pump. Comfortable two-storied house with modern facilities. Bright and sunny, child-friendly courtyard area in which greenhouse, windmill, water well and plants, as well as possibility to play a variety of outdoor games. Nice view of the lake. Pottery workshop distance of about 60 m (other neighbours 200 m, no sight). Guests can visit pottery workshop, as well as to have a possibility to shop there, 60 m distance. Lake Portimojärvi is a well-known bird lake and by the beach about 4 km away there is a bird-watching tower. Simojoki (salmon river) flows through the lake. The beach is child-friendly. For the guests to use there is 3 pairs of snow shoes, 2 bikes, manual ice drill and ice fishing equipment, as well as 2 kick sleds and other sleds for children. Ranua Zoo 21 km, Rovaniemi 57 km, Ounasvaara ski resort 60 km, Airport Rovaniemi 65 km. Final cleaning is included in the price.
