1 km from Monteverdi Marittimo: The country estate comprises several famhouses and a manor house which the owners occupy. The farmhouses are completely separate and have extensive private outdoor areas and are equipped with barbeque and garden furniture. The owner has erected an open air museum in the communal park with his own sculptures. There is also a large communal room available to guests which is suitable for courses or dinners. Dinner and excursions can be arranged on request. There's also a second partial covered and heated swimming pool (measures 3x9) for shared use, open the all year around. Country house Le Querciolaie. 8 km from the centre of Castagneto Carducci, in a quiet position, 20 km from the sea, in the countryside. For shared use: park (fenced), swimming pool (16 x 8 m, seasonal availability: 04.Jun. - 30.Sep.). Outdoor shower, garden furniture, barbecue. In the complex: WiFi, washing machine (for shared use). Die ganze Anlage ist traumhaft schön gestaltet, das Personal hilfsbereit (spricht aber nur Italienisch), die Räume sehr grosszügig. Wir haben alle das warme Pool stundenlang genossen. Nur ist die Raumeinteilung und verbindung zwischen den Wohnungen nicht zufriedenstellend. Die Villa Fontana ist in drei, nicht miteinander verbundenenen, Wohnungen (zwei Küchen) eingeteilt. Die Kücheneinrichtung ist sehr beschränkt und z.T. gibt es sogar zu wenig Besteck, Gläser und Co. Obwohl wir gar nicht geheizt haben (sondern nur ab und zu gekocht), mussten wir für Strom für eine Woche am Abreisetag sogar 50 Euro bezahlen.
Located in the hills of Tuscany there are several houses for rent. We stayed with a groups of 10 with small kinds and truly enjoyed the stay. The house is good, but the outside is even better. Two swimming excellent pools and each house comes with an outside location where you can barbeque and enjoy your outside breakfast, lunches and dinners. On the premise food is served as well on request and that quality is excellent. In the surroundings there are some nice villages, but most touristic locations are over an hour drive away.
